Just Immigration System That Reflects the Soul of America
The story of America is one of immigration.
From every generation and across every border, people have come here in search of safety, opportunity, and the promise that hard work and hope could build a better future.
Today, that promise is under threat — not because of the people who come here seeking it, but because of a broken system and a political class that treats immigration like a talking point, not a human reality.
As a proud American and a candidate who comes from the working class, I believe we must build an immigration system rooted in justice, compassion, and order — not cruelty, confusion, and delay.
I stand firmly in support of a legislative path to citizenship for Dreamers. These are young people who know no other home but the United States. They are students, workers, community leaders, caregivers, and taxpayers — Americans in every way but on paper.
It is long past time to end the legal limbo they’ve been forced into.
Congress must act — and the House of Representatives is where that action must begin. We cannot rely on executive orders or shifting court rulings to protect these individuals. We must enshrine their rights through legislation, the way our Constitution intended.
My plan includes:
✅ A clean and immediate path to citizenship for Dreamers through legislative action — no backroom deals, no political games.
✅ Fair, humane, and efficient immigration pathways that prioritize family unity, worker protections, and economic contributions.
✅ Increased investment in immigration courts and legal support, so families aren’t stuck in bureaucratic purgatory.
✅ Rejecting fear-based rhetoric and militarized enforcement that criminalizes families and tears communities apart.
Immigration is not a threat to America — it is the thread that has built our very fabric. We are strongest when we embrace diversity, protect human dignity, and make room at the table for those who believe in the American dream.
To every Dreamer, and to every immigrant who sees this country as a beacon of hope: I see you. I stand with you. And I will fight for you.
Dream on — because in this campaign, your future is not up for debate. It’s worth defending.
