When we talk about improving our communities, the most powerful place to begin is with our health. That means ensuring everyone has access to nutritious, high-quality food, preventive healthcare, clean air, safe water, and the ability to feel secure and strong every single day. These are the essentials that help children thrive in school, allow parents to support their families, and empower all of us to live, work, and grow together.

This is why I believe health must be our greatest investment. We must pass Universal Healthcare for All. 

Our form of government is under siege – not just from extremists or political opportunist, but from a growing alliance of ultra-wealthy elites and operatives working to rewrite the rules, and in some cases break them, in their favor.  Their goal is clear: dismantle the systems that protect everyday Americans and consolidate power (control) in the hands of the privileged few.

Their actions threaten to unravel the very structure that makes this country unique: our Constitutional Republic.

The story of America is one of immigration.

From every generation and across every border, people have come here in search of safety, opportunity, and the promise that hard work and hope could build a better future.

Today, that promise is under threat — not because of the people who come here seeking it, but because of a broken system and a political class that treats immigration like a talking point, not a human reality.
