Health Must Be Our Greatest Investment
When we talk about improving our communities, the most powerful place to begin is with our health. That means ensuring everyone has access to nutritious, high-quality food, preventive healthcare, clean air, safe water, and the ability to feel secure and strong every single day. These are the essentials that help children thrive in school, allow parents to support their families, and empower all of us to live, work, and grow together.
Congress must pass Universal Healthcare for All.
Far too many of our neighbors are struggling — managing chronic conditions without adequate care, living in areas without access to healthy food, and facing barriers to affordable healthcare, holistic wellness, or mental health support. It's unacceptable, and it’s preventable.
We must prioritize legislation that puts people before profits. That means investing in preventive care, expanding access to mental and holistic health services, banning toxic ingredients from our food supply, and ensuring that every community — regardless of zip code — has access to clean water and real, nourishing food.
When we invest in health, we invest in our children's futures, we strengthen our economy, and we build stronger, more resilient communities.
Simply put: the health of our nation is a national security issue. And it's time we treat it that way.
